In 2011 she began working at PsyCaD (The Centre for Psychological Services and career development) where she further focused her skills and continued to offer individual and family psychotherapy for adult service users. It was here that she developed an interest in trauma counselling with a specific focus on overcoming childhood sexual abuse. She also gained an interest in marriage counselling and initiated and managed various community psychology projects in and around Johannesburg. Sacha was subsequently involved in working with teenagers at this time and developed and conducted various workshops on challenges facing adolescents. Through this work Sacha developed an interest in helping teenagers to navigate the challenges of adolescence.
In 2012 Sacha began working at Houghton House Group of treatment centres in Johannesburg where she conducted daily group and individual therapy sessions on an inpatient and outpatient basis. She did extensive short term and long term therapy with clients facing drug and alcohol problems, eating disorders, and other self-destructive behaviours. While at Houghton House Sacha worked with a broad spectrum of patients dealing with a variety of secondary challenges such as bereavement, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, low self esteem, relationship struggles, trauma, and challenges with violence and anger.
After thoroughly enjoying her season at Houghton House, Sacha decided to open her own practice in Bryanston.
